AI Connect Use Case Guide

A working library of the prompts sellers run most often through eComSuite AI Connect. Each entry includes the prompt to copy, what to expect back, and the follow-ups that get you to action.

Keep it simple. AI Connect already has your data and a semantic layer that knows what ACOS, ROAS, TACOS, weeks of cover, and return rate mean — and it always knows your active marketplace, reporting currency, and timezone. You don't need to spell out thresholds, lookback windows, sort orders, or which seller/marketplace you are. Just ask.

What is eComSuite AI Connect?

AI Connect securely exposes your e-commerce data — ads, sales, inventory, finance, account health — to the AI assistant you already use (Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini). Connect once, then ask questions about your business in plain English and get answers grounded in your live eComSuite data. Every response is scoped to your seller account and the marketplace you're working in. All tools are read-only — AI Connect can analyze and recommend, but never changes a bid, budget, or listing.

How to read each entry

  • Prompt — copy this into your connected assistant.
  • What you'll get back — the shape of the answer.
  • Follow-ups — natural next questions that go deeper.

Note: Copying any prompt — main or follow-up — also copies a short instruction telling AI Connect to pull fresh data instead of relying on chat history.

If you haven't connected your assistant yet, see Getting connected at the bottom of this guide.

Save money

Find waste fast and act on it before the next budget cycle.

Top-product spotlight

Goal: Know your best sellers and their risks.

"What are my top products this month?"

What you'll get back: Ranked by revenue contribution, each with a risk flag and description — high returns, stock at risk, or declining sales.

Follow-ups
  • "Which of these are flagged for high returns?"
  • "How does this compare to last month?"
  • "Which top sellers are at risk of stocking out?"

Wasted-spend hunter

Goal: Find keywords burning budget with nothing to show for it.

"Which keywords are wasting spend?"

What you'll get back: A ranked list of high-spend, low-conversion keywords with spend, clicks, ACOS, match type, and the campaign each lives in — your pause / negative-keyword shortlist.

Follow-ups
  • "Only the last 7 days."
  • "Which of these have zero sales at all?"
  • "Show me the same thing at the campaign level."

Budget overspend check

Goal: Catch campaigns that go dark before the day is done.

"Which campaigns hit their budget cap early today?"

What you'll get back: Budget-constrained campaigns ranked by how early they exhaust their daily budget, with the hours they spend out of budget — where raising budget or tightening targeting recovers lost hours.

Follow-ups
  • "What hours of the day am I going dark?"
  • "How much more budget would keep them running all day?"

Fee & cost audit

Goal: See where your gross revenue actually goes.

"Where is my money going this month?"

What you'll get back: A gross→net revenue waterfall — Amazon fees, ad spend, discounts, shipping, returns — showing exactly what erodes your top line, with month-over-month change.

Follow-ups
  • "How have my Amazon fees trended over the last few months?"
  • "Which line item grew the most vs last month?"

Grow smarter

Where to put the next dollar.

Scale winning keywords

Goal: Find keywords with strong ROAS and room to spend more.

"Which keywords should I scale?"

What you'll get back: High-ROAS keywords (with a clicks-significance gate so you're not scaling noise), ranked so you can bid up proven winners first.

Follow-ups
  • "Only keywords above a 4x ROAS."
  • "Which campaigns are these in?"
  • "Show me top keywords by sales over the last 14 days."

Dayparting / best time to advertise

Goal: Shift budget toward the hours that actually convert.

"What time of day do my ads perform best?"

What you'll get back: Best and worst hours of the day on average — the input for bid schedules and dayparting rules — drawn from real-time hourly ad data.

Follow-ups
  • "How has my spend trended through today, hour by hour?"
  • "Are my worst hours also my cheapest clicks?"

Know your numbers

The scorecard, on demand.

Today's ad scorecard

Goal: A real-time read on how ads are doing right now.

"How are my ads doing today?"

What you'll get back: Today-so-far ad spend, clicks, ad sales, ROAS, and ACOS across all campaigns, in your marketplace's currency. (Ad sales use forward attribution, so the most recent day is still accruing — the answer says so.)

Follow-ups
  • "How does that compare to yesterday?"
  • "Break today down hour by hour."

Efficiency check

Goal: Your headline advertising efficiency over a real window.

"What's my ACOS over the last 30 days?"

What you'll get back: Whole-account ad spend, sales, ACOS, and ROAS for the window you name (7 / 14 / 30 days, yesterday, or all-time).

Follow-ups
  • "Show my worst campaigns by ROAS over the same window."
  • "Which campaigns improved vs the previous 30 days?"

Monthly business review

Goal: Understand the whole business, not just ads.

"How's my business this month vs last?"

What you'll get back: This month's P&L and operations — gross and net revenue, ROAS, TACOS, and return rate — each with its month-over-month change and the biggest drivers.

Follow-ups
  • "Is my revenue trending up over the last 6 months?"
  • "What drove the change vs last month?"
  • "How has my TACOS moved this year?"

What needs my attention

Triage first, then drill down.

Morning triage

Goal: One prioritized list of what to look at today.

"What needs my attention?"

What you'll get back: A cross-category triage feed with severity counts (Good / Info / Warning / Alert) and the top items in each category — Inventory, Returns, Revenue, Orders, Ad Performance, Ad Efficiency, and Ad Opportunity — plus your account-health standing. Issues are named plainly, e.g. “Underperforming Campaign,” “Scale Opportunity – High ROAS.”

Follow-ups
  • "Show me the return spikes."
  • "Which campaigns are flagged, and why?"
  • "Just the Alert-level items."

Account health check

Goal: Know your suspension risk before Amazon tells you.

"Is my account healthy?"

What you'll get back: Your Amazon Account Health rating plus any policy or fulfillment defects that put the account at risk.

Follow-ups
  • "What's the most urgent defect to fix?"

Working across marketplaces

AI Connect answers for the marketplace you're currently working in. If you sell in more than one, just name the marketplace in the question.

"How are my ads doing today in the US?"

What you'll get back: The same scorecard, scoped to the marketplace you named and its native currency.

Tip: Everything — currency, timezone, "today" — follows the marketplace context, so "this month" and "today" always mean that marketplace's calendar.

Build artifacts

Move from analysis to deliverable in one prompt.

Custom dashboard

Goal: A shareable view of your key metrics without opening a BI tool.

"Build me a shareable dashboard with my key metrics for the last 4 weeks."

What you'll get back: A rendered dashboard you can share with stakeholders.

Note: Dashboard generation requires an assistant with a rendering capability (e.g., Claude with Artifacts). See Getting connected for what's supported.

Performance deck

Goal: A weekly review or QBR deck ready to edit.

"Build a performance deck for last month."

What you'll get back: A draft deck — title, charts, and commentary — ready to refine.

Stakeholder summary email

Goal: Turn an analysis into a one-screen update.

"Write an email to my CFO summarizing this month's ad performance."

What you'll get back: A polished email draft you can edit and send.

One-click playbooks

AI Connect ships guided workflow playbooks — it runs the right tools, in the right order, and turns the results into a decision. No arguments required. In assistants that surface MCP prompts (e.g. Claude), they appear as one-click starters; everywhere else, just copy the prompt below.

Morning triage

Today's alerts + account health → one prioritized action list.

When to use: Start of day.

"Run my morning triage."

Budget pacing review

Finds campaigns going dark early and recommends budget / reallocation moves.

When to use: When ads run out of budget mid-day.

"Review my budget pacing."

Weekly ads performance

Sponsored Products review — spend efficiency, winners to scale, waste to cut.

When to use: Weekly optimization pass.

"Give me my weekly ads performance review."

Monthly business review

Explains the month's P&L and the biggest month-over-month drivers.

When to use: Month-end.

"Run my monthly business review."

Each playbook takes an optional focus hint — e.g. "Run my weekly ads review, focus on branded campaigns."

Tips that make prompts work better

  • Start simple. Trust AI Connect to pick reasonable defaults — lookback window, sort order, thresholds. Add specifics only when the default isn't what you meant.
  • Add a window only when "recent" isn't what you mean. "Today", "yesterday", "last 7 days", "this month" — drop them in when you need them. Real-time questions (today, hourly, dayparting, budget pacing) cover today + the last several days; anything longer routes to the preset-window and monthly views automatically.
  • Name the marketplace if you run more than one. "US Sponsored Products" beats "my Sponsored Products."
  • Tell it how you want the answer. "…as a table I can paste into Slack" or "…as bullets for an email" changes the format usefully.
  • Iterate in the same chat. Once AI Connect has the context, "now group that by campaign" or "just the last 14 days" is instant.
  • Trust the coverage notes. If an answer says data is still accruing (forward attribution) or was truncated, that's the semantic layer being honest — ask it to narrow the window or raise a filter.

Getting connected

  • Connect your assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini) to eComSuite AI Connect, then complete the eComSuite consent/login. Your access is scoped to the seller account and marketplaces you are authorized for — AI Connect never exposes another seller's data.
  • Read-only by design. AI Connect can analyze, rank, and draft, but it will never change a bid, budget, or listing on its own.
  • Client support varies. One-click playbooks appear in assistants that support MCP prompts (e.g. Claude); in others, copy the starter prompt text instead. Dashboard/deck generation needs an assistant with a rendering capability.
